    inspired by nir hod’s “i want always to be remembered in your heart (2013)”, a series of flower paintings engulfed in flames; the edition explores the paradoxical relationship between beauty and destruction. the pair of candles is an edition of 500, and consists of two carefully selected fragrances. one with a deep masculine scent, and one with a brighter feminine scent featuring notes of grey amber, soft leather, and mellow musk. the two candles are intended to be burned together, allowing the fragrances to play off one another. “for me, the idea of the strongest light in the darkest places has a mystical fragility, romanticism and beauty to it”, hod says.
